----------------------------------- AIMSOF THE ROLE
We are seeking acasual coach to support the delivery of our Super 1 Cricketprogramme. Casual coaches are on a fixed term session contractemployed through Somerset Cricket Foundation. We are seekinginnovative passionate and dedicated coaches to support and grow ourSuper 1 Cricket programmes in Yeovil and South Bristol. Eachsession is onehour on a Thursday evening in Yeovil (6pm7pm) orSouth Bristol(5pm6pm).

ROLEAND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Toengage young people within the local community and inspire ongoingparticipation in the Super 1 project.
* Tosupport weekly cricket activity and on some occasions lead asession.
* To act as a role model forparticipants during the session.
* To develop arapport with young people to enable them to engage and thrive inthe session.
* To support Somerset CricketFoundation in completing attendance records and registrationforms.
* To develop and maintain a positive imageand reputation for Somerset Cricket Foundation and Chance toShine.
* To adhere to all relevant SomersetCricket Foundation policies andprocedures.

QUALIFICATIONSAND EDUCATIONREQUIREMENTS
* Core Coachor Foundation Coach (if neither we can support the right candidateto achieve these).
* Experience of working withyoung people with additional support needs.
* ECBEnhanced DBS (we will providethis).
* Safeguarding for Coaches and Activators(SCAT) and First Aid certificate.
* Ability toget to sessions.
* Excellent communicationorganisation and planning skills.
* Efficienttime management.
* Ability to work independentlyor as part of a team.

* PeopleManagement Able to maintain good relationships with the youngpeople involved in the project. Being able to communicate with eachyoung person in the right way in order to collectively achieve.Recognising that each young person may require a different approachand adapting personal style to achieve requiredoutcomes.

* Behaviours Ensuring professionalboundaries are always maintained when working with children.Adhering to the Somerset Cricket Foundations Safeguarding Policy atall times.
