We are looking for a Emergency Response Operative to join us at our client site in Dyce, Aberdeen.
Provide 24-hour monitoring, notification and coordination of Incident/Emergency/Crisis Response services and arrangements across all North Sea operations and assets both onshore and offshore.
To ensure that the day-to-day operation of the BP Notification Centre (bpNC), associated activities and administrations is effective and resilient.
As a Emergency Response Operative you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to respond to various incidents across multiple regions whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

A typical day in the life as a Emergency Response Operative:
* Fully understand clients Emergency Response operating procedures and protocols
* The ability to respond to incidents or training exercises in accordance with agreed procedures
* To notify, mobilise and/or provide information to Incident Management Teams (IMTs), Business Support Team (BST), any associated response teams and C&CM/ER (Crisis & Continuity Management/Emergency Response) and Security Team as required.
* Provide immediate coordination of response and support to the site in an emergency incident in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
* Liaise and notify appropriate Emergency Response coordinating agencies and authorities as required.
* Accurately log all incident information, any actions taken and any mandatory reporting as instructed or regulated.
* In conjunction with Client C&CM/ER management ensuring that bpNC library is maintained to agreed standards.
* Fulfil the role of first point of contact to IMT members across the region for administration, response rotas, exercise participation, training and provision of assistance as required.
* Maintain accurate records of vessel and mobile rig movements, alongside Person on Board manifests.
* Provide effective administrative and project support to Client C&CM/ER & Security Teams as required.
* Ensure effective and detailed handover between operators at all shift changes
* Be competent in the use of telephony and IT systems
* To possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
