Reporting to the Logistics Solutions Project Manager (Storage Solutions), the main purpose of this role is to ensure the effective installation of KION’s Storage Solutions projects ensuring excellent levels of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising end-to-end projects, from point of hand over by the sales team through to successful and timely installation and customer sign off.

Main Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Logistics Solutions Project Manager (Storage Solutions), the main purpose of this role is to ensure the effective installation of KION’s Storage Solutions projects ensuring excellent levels of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising end-to-end projects, from point of hand over by the sales team through to successful and timely installation and customer sign off.
This is a multi-function role and require the candidate to work within the required standards and regulations for each product range. In addition, your relationship skills will allow you to manage and work alongside the most challenging of customers and network with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. This role will be home-based but with significant UK travel and will involve overstays from home as required.
Main Duties:
1. Pre-start meetings with customer to assess site conditions and understand customer installation programme requirements and other trade implications
2. Programme creation – considering other trade activities and customer date requirements
3. Agree supplier delivery dates in line with build programme and site conditions
4. Agree Installation Hire Equipment requirements – based on site specifics.
5. Fulfil CDM requirements – Ensure customer has correct and relevant CDM in place. On orders with CDM in our package ensuring PC requirements in place. (H&S Site packs, F10 Notifications, creating site paperwork, monitoring completion of site paperwork)
6. Monitor project budgets and costs. Accurately recording all cost amendments/recharges to project documentation.
7. All Customer communications – including weekly programme meetings and actions
8. Creation of site-specific RAM’s and H&S documentation
9. Customer approval of Installation Drawings (Design meetings where appropriate)
10. Monitoring on site progress in line with programme dates and costs allocated.
11. Dealing with onsite reactive issues – as reported by site supervisor or installation.
12. Material Management on site. Ensuring teams are correctly monitoring materials and reporting shortages in a timely manner. Also, locally sourcing any urgent shortages.
13. Monitoring on site H&S processes and documenting on H&S Audits
14. Snagging Approvals
15. Sign off approvals
16. Completion documentation for customer – O&M Documentation
17. Monitoring/controlling/ feedback on any supplier issues – cost control/recharges if applicable
