Energy Sales Consultant Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 dependent upon experience, plus excellent commission Location: Exchange Quay, Manchester Reports to: Sales Team Manager Sales Manager Department: Direct Sales Team Hours: 37.5hrs per week - 8:30am – 4:30pm (Monday – Friday) Job Type: Full time, Permanent Job Summary: As an Energy Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by connecting with potential clients and providing innovative energy solutions tailored to their specific needs. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and closing deals that promote sustainable energy practices. Role Responsibilities - Energy Sales Consultant: • Working within an inbound/outbound sales environment, engaging in proactive prospecting for business through outbound B2B sales calls. • Initiating connections with key decision makers to grasp their business energy needs. • Delivering personalised solutions and top-tier services (energy as a service) aimed at enhancing customer efficiency and cost-effectiveness. • Securing customer interest and obtaining copies of their bills for further analysis. • Executing consultations, negotiations, and closures of energy contracts. • Cultivating enduring, trust-based relationships with clients to optimise future business opportunities. • Attaining daily/weekly/monthly KPI targets in alignment with objectives such as call volume, duration, and financial goals. • Ensuring accurate customer data within the CRM system through regular updates and maintenance. • Upholding compliance with all company policies and procedures. Key Skills / Experience – Energy Sales Consultant: • Competent in achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth (KPI: Revenue). • Strong communication and negotiation skills, fostering productive client interactions. • Ability to effectively build and maintain client relationships. • Experienced in sales techniques and CRM (KPI: Conversion rates, Pipeline growth). • A self-motivated and results driven. • Previous experience in Customer Service or Inbound/Outbound Sales is essential. • Candidates with outbound cold calling would be highly advantageous.
