We are looking for a highly-skilled Pupil Support Officer who are passionate about improving life chances for all through a professional commitment to leading change and improvement that ensures positives outcomes for our children and young people. As a Pupil Support Officer at Madras College you will work as part of the Pupil Support team. Working under the direction and supervision of the Business Manager and/or DHT for Support you will work as a member of Pupil Support Team providing a safe, secure and inclusive environment for pupils. To develop positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and other services, building pupil confidence, and enhancing their ability to learn.,

* You will be educated to SCQF level 4, which includes National 4 or Standard Grades at General level or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
* Experience of working with young people in an educational setting.
* First Aid at Work qualification is desirable
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
