Part-time Administrator/Finance Assistant
Whitfield Aspen School is seeking a Part-time Administrator/Finance Assistant to join our friendly, energetic and dynamic team. The office is a vibrant, fast-paced environment that is focused on delivering an outstanding service and building great relationships with staff and parents. We are a large primary school over two sites on an expansion programme.
Vacancy: 15 hours per week (Thursday & Friday), Permanent Contract, Term Time Only, 38 weeks plus KCC holiday entitlement.
Salary: Kent Range 4 pro-rata (equivalent to £23,338 - £23,921 full time): £12.10/hour (KSB 2025-26 TBC)
Your main duty will be to provide administrative and financial support to the administration team in addition to welcoming and communicating with visitors, parents, carers, staff and children. Support and training will be provided. This role is varied and therefore all-round administration and financial skills are essential.
Qualifications & Key Skills
* Qualifications to include English and Maths GCSE A-C grade or equivalent (evidence of qualifications will be required to be provided prior to interview & on the interview day)
* Experience in school office and financial administration is important
* Ability to operate FMS6/SIMS/ParentPay is desirable
* Good interpersonal skills, including oral and written skills
* Organised and an eye for detail
* Ability to prioritise tasks
* A willingness to take the initiative and work without close supervision
A skills assessment will be carried out during the interview process.
