Commercial Analyst

12 month contract
Working within the Commercial/Contract Management team. Supporting the Commercial Lead to coordinate contractual, supplier and financial tasks related to vendor relationships within the bank’s Corporate Mobility organization.
The successful candidate should have good experience with stakeholder management and be able to demonstrate effective communication skills as they will be expected to work with various teams; including Product Managers, Service Managers, Engineering, Business control and Risk Partners, and partner with bank’s Procurement, Vendor Management & Finance Organizations to support the management of commercial requirements relating to vendors.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor contract implementation timelines against planned deployment of services to ensure alignment with contract renewal target dates
* Complete contract engagement requests. This may range from simple product supply through to more complex licensing and managed service requirements
* Help manage vendor expenses and assist Commercials Lead and finance partners with third party budget forecasting including data analytics on existing mobile usage trends/patterns.
* Identify and escalate vendor commercial risk against bank risk criteria
* Work with a delivery lead to assist integrating vendors with a new Telecom Expense Management platform
* Perform vendor performance analysis and reporting on all carriers once onboarded to the Telecom Expense Management platform
* Work with the Service Management team for user escalation and queries related to mobile carrier contracts.
Required skills and attributes:
Experience:
* Experience of working within a supplier risk management/ control function is preferable
* Experience of working across multiple LOBs and demonstrating strong stakeholder management. This is essential for influencing stakeholders whose support is critical to our success.
* Experience in using a Telecom Expense Management platform to drive business decisions and reporting requirements.
Skills:
* Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor a message to an audience
* Ability to create presentation material for sharing with key stakeholders and immediate management.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, specifically PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
* Advanced experience with Excel - Macros, Pivot Tables, V-Lookups would be preferable.
