We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Carrick Veterinary Group.
Location: Providing support to sites in Chesterfield, Barlborough & Mansfield – own transportation and flexibility to work from all locations required.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 38.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday between 08.30 – 7:30 plus a 1:2 Saturday at 4 hours. Flexibility is paramount.

About the role:
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
* Answering phones and booking appointments
* Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
* Registering new clients
* Dispensing medications
* Taking payments
* And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:
* Previous Receptionist experience is preferable, but not essential, veterinary experience is a plus, interest in animal welfare and wellbeing is essential.
* Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
* An excellent communicator with strong empathy
* Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
* A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
