Job Responsibilities
A two-pronged approach is taken for patients referred to the service: physical exercise and classroom-based learning. This role supports both aspects, taking direction from more senior staff. You will facilitate pre-planned sessions tailored to individual clients. You will adhere to strict security procedures at all times; the ideal candidate will be able to follow such policies as part of their daily duties. Good observation skills are necessary to ensure safety for patients and staff alike. Experience of working within an educational setting would be beneficial as you will be supporting patients who have various learning difficulties. The ability to create good written communication is vital as you will contribute to written reports daily. Confident verbal communication is imperative for motivation, instructing, and de-escalation on occasion. We are looking for a team player who can be flexible and understands the importance of teamwork. The ability to prioritize your time and work independently is desirable. Engaging in clinical and managerial supervision is also an important aspect of this role.
