Technical Sales specialist - Chemistry Lab Equipment

The Role
A Technical Sales Specialist to drive business growth in the North of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. This role involves managing sales and building strong customer relationships within the designated territory.
Location: Ideally situated in the North East of England/ South East Scotland
Responsibilities
* Identify new business opportunities and manage the sales cycle to maximise sales potential.
* Maintain and develop relationships through structured site visits and communications with current and potential customers. Identify and manage key accounts.
* Conduct on-site sales visits, product demonstrations, and training sessions. Overnight stays will be required.
* Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, follow system processes, and use the system to support sales development.
* Organise and attend mini-exhibitions and symposiums.
* Assist with marketing activities, participate in sales and training videos and webinars, and report on competitor activity and market conditions.
Experience & Qualifications
* Familiarity with Organic/Medicinal/Scale-up and Process Chemists in Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, BioPharma, Research, and Chemical organisations.
* Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
* BSc or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
* Understanding of products in process and organic chemistry.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Full UK driving license.

* Confident in dealing with senior managers.
Remuneration
* Competitive salary based on experience. (up to £48,000 DOE)
