Site Supervisor (Civils-Rail) Join our client's dynamic team as a Site Supervisor, where you'll be the primary contact on delivery sites for both internal and external stakeholders, overseeing all activities and works. Responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact for all site-related matters, ensuring smooth coordination of activities. Produce comprehensive scopes of work and submit them promptly to the Project Manager. Maintain proactive communication with the Project Manager to ensure alignment on delivery requirements. Supervise and motivate both internal and external labour, providing clear direction and problem-solving support for efficient project delivery. Conduct toolbox talks, task briefings, and SSOW briefings as necessary for the delivery team. Ensure that the Civils teams have all necessary resources for safe and high-quality work, including materials and PPE. Monitor daily Civils team activities, locations, and productivity, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Provide daily reports on activities and completed works to the Project Manager. Produce accurate completion reports for all works and submit them in a timely manner. Conduct site audits and inspections, ensuring accurate completion of paperwork and reporting to relevant stakeholders. Ensure all works comply with job specifications, industry standards, and Company policies, reporting any issues to the Project Manager. Take immediate action to stop work if safety or quality standards are compromised. Coordinate staffing rosters on a week-by-week basis. Perform vehicle checks in line with company procedures and report any issues promptly. Ensure accurate capture, recording, maintenance, and reporting of works data/information. Conduct risk assessments on site and proactively suggest ways to eliminate hazards and improve work methods. Adhere to all applicable health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures, reporting incidents promptly. Undertake required training as directed by management or the Company. Person Specification: Essential: Previous experience in a similar role within the Rail industry. Possession of a full UK driving licence and PTS. SSSTS certification. Experience in scoping and reporting works/delivery. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships. Thorough understanding and application of health, safety, and environmental practices. Flexibility in approach to work and strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in IT, including email, MS Word, and Excel. Proactive and self-motivated. Physically fit and capable of working in rough terrain and inclement weather. Presents a professional image and embodies the qualities of a client ambassador. Desirable: Driving licence category BE (trailer towing). COSS certification. NPTC Level 2 Brushcutting Operations.
