The role We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Associate Director to assist with strategic growth of our Building Safety, BRPD support and Building Regulations consultancy services for clients and projects across the UK. This is a senior client facing role where you’ll play a central part in developing our client base, mentoring consultants, and ensuring technical excellence across a portfolio of complex projects. Key responsibilities Lead and oversee various Building Regulations projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes Support the operational growth of the business regionally and nationally Manage and mentor a team of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and learning Be a trusted point of contact for clients — advising on BRPD responsibilities, Gateway Submissions, Building Safety legislation, and the Building Regulations framework Contribute to strategic direction and service development alongside the Managing Director What we’re looking for Chartered professional with membership of either RICS, CABE, CIOB, RIBA Ideally Class 3G&H Registered Building Inspector but will consider applicants from other disciplines i.e. Architects, Engineers etc Deep understanding and experience of the Building Regulations, Building Safety Act, and associated guidance Proven track record in delivering high-quality client services Confident communicator and natural collaborator Experience in business development, client relationships or team leadership preferred Passionate about improving industry standards and outcomes across the built-environment and construction industry What you’ll get in return Competitive salary based on experience Company bonus scheme Flexible hybrid or remote working 25 days annual leave bank holidays Ongoing CPD and development opportunities A growing, friendly, and forward-thinking team environment
