As a Health and Social Care Trainer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the skills, knowledge, and confidence of our staff to deliver outstanding care. By developing and delivering high-quality training, you’ll ensure our colleagues are equipped to meet the challenges and opportunities of providing exceptional care and support. Whether it’s through in-person sessions, online learning, or hands-on competency assessments, your work will have a lasting impact on the lives of our residents and team members. What You’ll Be Doing Deliver impactful training: Lead engaging online and in-person sessions that align with organisational goals and meet learner needs. Develop and maintain content: Create and update training materials, ensuring compliance and effectiveness. Support teams to thrive: Build relationships with colleagues and operational managers, helping them meet their KPIs and identify training needs. Drive excellence: Facilitate induction programmes, mandatory update days, and workplace assessments, including competency sign-offs. Champion innovation: Stay up to date with training trends and adapt delivery methods to suit diverse learning styles. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in delivering training, particularly tailored to different learning styles and audiences Practical knowledge of the health and social care sector or transferable experience from similar environments. Confidence using technology and online platforms to design and deliver training content. Strong observation and feedback skills, with the ability to assess competencies effectively. A collaborative approach to working with diverse teams and engaging with operational leaders. A full UK driver’s licence to deliver training across multiple locations. Although experience in Health & Social care and Training is desirable we would also encourage applications from candidates with one of the above.
