If the answer is yes.... then we have an exciting opportunity for a Governance and Legal Administrator to join our newly formed Governance and Regulation Directorate.
We're offering an excellent salary of £31,567 plus some great benefits.
As a Governance and Legal Administrator, you will need good people skills, be able to multitask and be flexible in your approach to daily priorities. You will be a key part of the team in delivering an effective governance & legal service - taking a Customer First approach to ensuring our Board, Committees and Leadership team are able to perform their roles effectively and all colleagues are aware of and can comply with the governance expectations on them.
Specifically, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment and induction of non-executive directors, ensuring all governance & legal documentation is accurate and accessible, arranging meetings and Board member appraisals and collating and analysing data to ensure continuous improvement.
The role is defined as being flexible under our agile working policy, therefore you will be able to work from wherever is suitable to complete the task at hand. This might be at home, or in one of our offices located in Boston or Grimsby, or somewhere else! However, you will be required to spend at least 1 day per week in our Offices.
Ideal candidate will live within travelling distance to the Grimsby and Boston offices.

What will I be asked to do as a Governance and Legal Administrator?
* Non-executive director (NED) Recruitment - Working closely with the Talent Team, facilitate elements of the recruitment campaigns of NED's, ensuring a customer first approach. This includes arranging meetings, preparing paperwork, responding to enquiries and collating information to enable us to listen, act and learn.
* NED Induction - Coordinate the induction of new NED's by ensuring all documentation is issued and received, arrange internal induction sessions and organise required development.
* Registers - Monitor and maintain accurate governance registers, action trackers and documentation. This includes updating governance improvement action plans, non-executives' diversity, declarations of interest, raising concerns, annual assurance reviews, the policy and strategy framework - ensuring effective information flows.
* Legal Support - Coordinate the collation, preparation, printing, posting and provision of documents for legal case work. Including - locating documents on our internal document system (EDRMS), locating properties and running reports from our SharePoint document filing and our internal housing management system, locating tenancy and legal documentation and use of e-signature systems.
* Records Management and Communication - Maintain the Governance and Regulation team's filing and shared content. Ensure the LHP website, internal intranet and board portal governance content is up to date and accurate, ensuring openness and transparency with customers and colleagues.
* Quality Assurance - Support the facilitation and quality assurance of board and committee meeting reports, minutes and actions and governance/legal documents.
* Board Performance - Provide administrative support for the Board and Committee Appraisal process, annual Board Effectiveness review and development processes. This includes issuing and collating paperwork, collating analysis from surveys and arranging meetings.
* Meeting Support - Provide administrative support for the team in peak periods - including arranging meetings, strategy and development sessions, ensuring appropriate hospitality, technology requirements and travel arrangements and circulating documents.
* Administrative Support - Provide support to the Corporate Head of Governance and Regulation in their role as Deputy Company Secretary with specific work allocated as appropriate by your line manager. Provide support and assistance to other team members as required, including cover for holidays and sickness.
What skills, attributes and experience will I need as a Governance and Legal Administrator?
* Customer focussed with the ability to communicate with other internal colleagues, professionals, companies, and solicitors
* Good time management skills, and the ability to organise and prioritise workload within given timescales
* A passion for providing high quality work, preferably with an experience in proof reading documents, with attention to detail
* Self-motivated and organised
* A good understanding in the principles of confidential working and have the ability to apply them to all aspects of work
* Experience working with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
* Proactive approach to learning
* Ability to use initiative and work as part of a team
