We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is seeking a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to work in their welding machine workshop.
About this role:
* Monday to Friday (no weekends)
* Working hours 08:00am - 5:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair faults in electric and engine-driven welding and cutting equipment.
* Inspect machines when they return from hire to check for any faults.
* Prepare machines to be ready for hire, ensuring they are in good working condition.
* Ensure all safety standards are adhered to while performing maintenance and repairs.
* Work closely with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in welding, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
* Experience with welding equipment and cutting tools is highly desirable.
* Agricultural experience would be considered an additional advantage.
* Forklift engineering experience is also a plus.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
