The SEN Teaching Assistant Job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work with students with SLD and ASD. You will provide one-on-one support, helping students engage with their learning and develop independence, literacy and mathematics skills. If you have patience, creativity, and a desire to make a real impact in the lives of these pupils, then this might be the job for you!

The SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
10. Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
11. Support with planning, preparation and resourcing for lessons
12. Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities
13. Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy and procedures
14. Organise and manage teaching space and resources to help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment
