About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join our forward-thinking secondary school in London. Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
2. Plan and implement an inspiring curriculum that promotes computational thinking, problem-solving, and coding skills.
3. Use a range of teaching methods and resources to engage students of all abilities, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
4. Prepare students for national exams, including GCSEs and A-Levels, with strong subject knowledge and exam preparation techniques.
5. Contribute to the development of extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs or tech competitions, to enhance students' learning experience.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
2. A degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
3. Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or HTML.
4. Ability to inspire students and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
5. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
