About the role Working within a small team and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Team Leader will play a key role in supporting the Gatwick operation by ensuring customer requests are fulfilled efficiently. In this role, you will supervise the duties of the Stores and Logistics Officers, ensuring smooth warehouse operations and exceptional service delivery. This position is stores-based and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, excellent organisational abilities, and the capability to build and maintain key relationships. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you Responsibilities Oversee warehouse operations and manage team workload effectively. Prioritize tasks and resolve queries for Stores and Logistics Officers. Supervise the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently; act as the lead in the Manager’s absence. Handle customer requests, including material, sales/exchange inquiries, and after-hours demands. Ensure timely shipments, meet AOG deadlines, and coordinate with couriers. Maintain data accuracy in Quantum and organize filing systems. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and use export licenses for controlled goods. Review and allocate freight invoices for approval. Receive, inspect, store, and dispatch aeronautical parts including electro-sensitive devices Pack parts for domestic and export dispatch, maintaining accurate shipping documentation. Resolve queries and manage rejected parts effectively. Collaborate across departments to support smooth operations and achieve company goals. Skills & Experience Relevant experience in the aerospace industry, preferably within a Stores or Logistics environment. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage and supervise a small team. Self-starter and the ability to work independently using your own initiative. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. A willingness to learn and enthusiasm for professional growth. Full driving license.
