In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our supply chain operations, ensuring that our products are always in the right place at the right time.
As Supply Planner the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of a robust supply chain and driving effective inventory management, in order to support Medik8’s rapid growth and meet Supply Chain objectives.
The working hours for this role are:
Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm (Hybrid working, onsite Tuesday - Thursday)
In more detail the role will include:
* Ensuring optimal raw material / componentry inventory levels through effective intake management, to maximise product availability and prevent out of stocks or overstock situations.
* Collaborating with Procurement, Planning, Warehouse, and Quality teams to align supply plans with business needs.
* Monitoring and drive reduction in aged and obsolete lines to support inventory targets and minimise stock write off risk.
* Preparing and presenting reporting on inventory KPI’s, to include risk and opportunity insights and action planning.
* Supporting the Supply Chain Manager in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
* Supporting the Supply Chain Administrator in resolving high risk supply chain issues with our External Suppliers when required.
What can you bring to the role?
* Substantial experience in a supply planning role (or similar), ideally in businesses with multiple SKU portfolios.
* Experience working with ERP software.
* Advanced IT Skills: Google Suite or Microsoft Systems.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
* Good problem solving skills and able to take initiative.
* Have a desire to learn and continuously develop.
