We are looking for an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our high-performing and collaborative team. This is a hybrid role, working 2 days a week in the office and 3 days a week from home.
What you will own:
* Perform accounting functions in payroll preparation, distribution, and reporting.
* Balance payroll ledger, research exceptions, and take corrective action.
* Reconcile tax and unemployment liability accounts.
* Prepare payroll tax reporting and resolve issues.
* Implement process improvements and lead special projects.
* Serve as liaison to employees and payroll associates.
* Audit employee pay records and reconcile totals.
* Interpret pay policies and ensure correct deductions.
* Document payroll processes and train staff.
* Produce scheduled/ad hoc analyses and reports.
* Other related duties as needed.
What you bring:
* Broad knowledge of payroll principles and regulations.
* Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP).
* 6+ years of payroll processing experience.
* Experience in a dynamic payroll environment.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Desire for continuous improvement.
* Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables).
Bonus if you have:
* Experience in other EMEA countries.
