Our product managers are the guardians responsible for bringing the NB product vision to life for our consumers. They analyze consumer insights, apply foresight, and marketplace capacity to create compelling product strategies that deliver exceptional consumer experiences and best-in-class products.
We are seeking a versatile Product Manager, Apparel – EMEA to develop world-class products for the JD Group globally and our key account business in EMEA. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for product, a good understanding of the Gen Z consumer, be strategic, highly collaborative, and commercially driven. This role will shape the future of our apparel business in EMEA by leveraging consumer and marketplace insights to identify 'what’s next' and ensure the right products are delivered at the right time to drive growth. You will be an excellent communicator and a savvy product creator, focusing on accelerating apparel growth through sell-in and sell-through metrics.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Develop and execute the global apparel product strategy for JD group to meet ambitious financial goals.
* Create seasonal design briefs and collaborate with the Manchester Design Studio team (design, development, tech design) to deliver products within the SMU calendar.
* Partner with JD lead buyers and channel merchandisers to define the product line plan based on segmentation, regionalization, space, and capacity.
* Manage systems, pricing, and calendars for product lines.
* Drive a relevant product range that meets consumer needs and achieves commercial targets.
* Ensure accurate communication and information flow regarding JD Apparel topics.
* Collaborate with the inline PM team to incorporate brand stories and meaningful moments, including merchandised exclusives, to support growth targets.
* Assist in preparing and presenting global pre-line apparel presentations for JD group.
* Develop products aligned with margin targets and work with sourcing to expand global reach for JD.
* Communicate effectively across regions to capture opportunities and ensure execution of the product line.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
* 3-5+ years of experience in Product Line Management, Merchandising, or Buying in apparel with a global brand.
* A keen eye for product, awareness of current and upcoming trends, and a deep understanding of the Gen Z consumer.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills to articulate and advocate concepts and decisions.
* Robust analytical skills to support decision-making.
* Experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Consumer-focused with a problem-solving approach and a can-do attitude.
* Domestic and international travel required.
