About The Role
Play a key role in a thriving and award-winning team within a leading civil and infrastructure company. You'll be the estimating specialist, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality project estimates.
Location: Hybrid - primarily Kent office (1 day/week), with flexibility to work from the London office 2 days/week.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and finalize project estimates exceeding £1 million in value.
2. Collaborate with senior estimators and other departments to ensure project viability.
3. Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the estimating process.
4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating practices within the team.
5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in construction estimating.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction estimating.
7. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles is preferred.
8. Experience working on a variety of construction projects is a plus.
9. Data center construction experience is a bonus.
10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for successful collaboration.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
