and Europe.
We are looking for a Rack Inspector to join our busy and growing organisation, you will be SEMA approved or looking for career
development and working towards a SEMA qualification. The Rack Inspector will have excellent product knowledge within pallet
racking and shelving and an extensive understanding of SEMA guidelines. The successful candidate will ideally be based in Scotland
but the role will involve regular travel throughout the North of England.
Key responsibilities:
* Carrying out on-site, ground level safety checks in warehouses/stores
* Notifying customer contact of any immediate H&S issues observed
* Explaining to the customer any poor housekeeping practices
* Adhering to customer’s on-site H&S rules
* Accurately recording damage, including measurements and description of damaged components
* Writing detailed written reports in line with SEMA templates
* Very occasional work at height (usually via scissor lift or crane)
* Ensuring details taken to allow for safe working loads to be calculated as/when required
Required experience/skills/qualifications:
* SEMA Approved Rack Inspector for pallet racking or experience of working within the pallet racking industry.
* Knowledge of H&S guidelines
