Stock Administrator
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £27,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
My client who is based in Basingstoke is seeking a detail-oriented Stock Administrator to join their team. To apply for this role, you will need previous experience working within stock movement and data administration as well as being a strong team player. Experience using an MRP or ERP system is desirable.
Responsibilities:
1. Accurate administration and data entry of goods in, processing orders, cut notes, delivery notes, and re-location of stock.
2. Daily accurate processing of stock pick notes for customer and branch network (transfer) sales orders via ERP stock control software.
3. Data entry of supplier delivery notes (purchase orders) onto the stock software and accurately recording the correct weights and lengths.
4. Updating internal location changes of stock movement between warehouses, customers, and branches.
5. Sending out accurate delivery notes via stock processing for transport of customer/branch sales orders.
6. Distribution and communication of internal paperwork to sales, warehouse, and purchasing staff.
7. Recording transport manifest for internal local and national and 3rd party material distribution.
8. To assist in answering telephone, email, and face-to-face stock queries.
9. Assist with returns of stock to my client and suppliers.
10. Scanning both electronic and manual filing of all supplier material certs.
11. Any other duties as required by the company.
Key Competencies and Characteristics required:
1. Qualifications: Work experience and competence based, GCSE/NVQ or equivalent in Maths and English. ITC skills essential.
2. Values: Teamwork, Commitment, Diligence, Enthusiasm & Respect.
3. Organised and committed individual able to work on own or part of a team and able to work to deadlines.
4. General office management skills coupled with the relevant skills and experience to enable effective and accurate administration and data processing of stock movement, goods in and out, internal picking notes, and customer delivery notes.
5. Excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator able to demonstrate ability to work with differing departmental needs and experience in managing workflow in a busy commercial environment.
6. Basic IT skills around Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, and email, and use of scanners for online documentation.
7. ERP and MRP experience ideal as system-driven process.
