This is a vital role where you will lead and support staff at both our Thetford sites (Breckland House & Riverside Walk) to ensure we continue offering a consistently high level of service. About the Role: As a Team Leader, you will take a leading role in providing regular staff support, managing referrals, and ensuring the smooth running of the service. Your key responsibility will be offering one-to-one emotional support sessions to individuals who have either dropped in or been referred to the Hub. Using proven non-clinical de-escalating techniques, listening skills, and other approaches, you will create a safe space for individuals to regroup, socialise, and begin their recovery journey. You will also guide the Day Hub team in delivering a safe environment for crisis de-escalation, recovery, safety planning, and personal growth. This will be done in a psychologically informed environment that promotes individualised, non-clinical support tailored to each person's needs. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the Day Hub service has a well-supported and organised team that is clear in its values and responsive to individuals' needs. Support staff in managing complex situations, offering guidance and problem-solving advice in collaboration with the service manager and on-call manager when needed. Provide regular non-clinical supervision and objective reviews for staff to ensure personal and service objectives are met. Support individuals in crisis to develop their own safety plans and coping strategies, empowering them to navigate through challenging times. Establish meaningful relationships with those referred to the Hub, helping them progress and achieve personal recovery goals. Collaborate closely with other Hub services and external organisations to offer holistic support to individuals. Evaluate and measure the impact of interventions, working with the Hub Manager to track progress using KPIs. Introduce non-clinical therapeutic tools such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance to clients. Liaise with external agencies, including GPs, councils, and mental health teams, to make and receive referrals as necessary. Ensure all client information is accurately recorded using the Norfolk and Waveney Mind Client Management System.
