This is a key role in driving business growth by managing key accounts and identifying new market opportunities. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, increasing profitability, and leading a small sales team. About the Role: Customer Relationship Management - Own and develop key accounts, ensuring excellent service and identifying new growth opportunities. Sales & Profitability - Drive revenue growth, manage pricing strategies, and oversee account profitability. Strategic Growth - Identify new business opportunities, lead bids and tenders, and monitor market intelligence. Team Leadership - Manage and mentor a team of two sales professionals. Collaboration - Work closely with internal departments such as Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Engineering to ensure seamless customer service. Client Interaction & Events - Occasional travel within Scotland for client meetings and attendance at key industry events. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within Manufacturing or Engineering. Strong commercial awareness with experience managing pricing, contracts, and profitability. Comfortable working in an SME environment with a hands-on approach. Excellent relationship-building skills, both internally and externally. People management experience is beneficial but not essential. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and ERP or MRP software
