About the role
We have a great opportunity for a Change Management Specialist to join the Change Management & Adoption Team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract within our Group Change department. The scale, pace and complexity of change at NFU Mutual is growing and as a member of the Change Management & Adoption Team, you will be responsible for preparing the organisation, and Agency network, for the changes coming through our portfolio of projects and programmes.
As a Change Management Specialist, you will work under the guidance of a Change Manager to understand individual change impacts and influence and embed change adoption across the business by applying specialist knowledge and understanding how the changes add value and integrate with existing working practices. You will improve knowledge of best practice in change management and adoption and establish success criteria for the successful adoption across Agency, Mutual Direct, Regional and Head Office teams as required.
Alongside your project(s), you will be part of a team of Change professionals who contribute to the continuous improvement of our Framework, ways of working and best practice to improve our Change Management maturity across the organisation.
About you
As a Change Management Specialist, you will have a natural curiosity in people.You will seek to put yourself in the shoes of those impacted by change, understanding their roles, motivations, and more. You will use this information to be their voice on projects and programmes to ensure that we deliver suitable approaches and plans and deliver with the impacted audience in mind.
You’ll be a confident communicator, a natural influencer, a diplomatic challenger, and be able to adapt your style to suit different stakeholders. You will need to be comfortable working in occasionally ambiguous environments and be able to manage your workload effectively to balance project delivery, team initiatives and personal development.
* Experience working in a similar role on large scale change initiatives
* Experience of defining, tracking and presenting post go-live adoption measures
* Excellent IT skills and confident working in PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI and Virtual Whiteboards
* Comfortable working with, analysing and presenting data
Experience of working in the Insurance industry or Financial Services would be advantageous. Specialist expertise in aspects of change management, such as communications and learning would also be desirable.
