DCS Recruitment currently seeks experienced data cabling engineers in Cambridge on behalf of a national client.

Location: CB2 postcode area
Flexible with dates to book for this adhoc attendance.
Duration: 1 adhoc shift initially, more to follow with this client.
Working Hours: Up to 8 hours on night shifts, starting at 5pm.
The successful cabling engineer will be carrying out a fault investigation and resolution. This can include new cabling, installation of wireless APs, alteration of CCTV, and containment.
Requirements:
* Hold a valid CSCS/ECS/Equivalent structured cabling/comms industry related card.
* Hold a valid UKATA asbestos awareness certificate (this can be done online prior to start).
* Hold a valid IPAF licence for categories 3a and 3b for cabling at high level.
* Be able to provide relevant work references prior to start.
* Have access to a PC/Laptop to complete free, online training prior to start – this will last for 12 months and opens the door for more work opportunities during this time.
