Lancaster University provides approximately 6700 rooms for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The accommodation is located across our nine colleges and in the city centre and creates highly diverse and vibrant communities. The Accommodation Services Team are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide a customer orientated front line service to current and prospective students as part of a strong and supportive wider team. The team are responsible for delivering a professional and friendly accommodation service to students living on campus as well as assisting with the transition to off campus living. Due to the customer focused nature of the role, on campus working is required. You should have at least 12 months experience of administrative processes in a busy office environment, preferably within the HE or a housing context. You will have excellent IT and communication skills as well as strong organisational skills. You will be expected to demonstrate an ability to work flexibly with minimal supervision as well as part of a team. In addition to a Personal Development Plan, additional training and qualifications will be available via the Apprenticeship Levy for candidates if appropriate. The role is very varied and a flexible approach to work will be required. This is a full-time position.
