Social Worker Level 2 Who You Are As a professional Social Worker with minimum two years post qualification experience, you will be a vital part of a team supporting adults with care needs. You are committed to strength-based practice, facilitating networks to help individuals reach their goals. You work cooperatively with multi-agency peers and autonomously manage both routine and complex cases. Leadership and mentoring skills are essential to guide and support less experienced colleagues. What the job involves You will manage complex caseloads, performing needs assessments, planning, implementing, and reviewing care packages. Your role includes undertaking safeguarding enquiries and deputizing when necessary. As a mentor, you supervise up to four non-registered practitioners and support newly qualified social workers' development. Collaborating with individuals and related agencies, you will construct supportive, value for money care packages, enhancing quality of life and minimizing risks. The job encompasses coordinating resources, updating records, and potentially representing the team in court.
