They are seeking a passionate and experienced Art Teacher to join their dedicated faculty. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of students from over 40 nationalities. Position Overview: The successful candidate will be instrumental in empowering students to develop their artistic skills and flourish within an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. This role entails fostering a dynamic and creative learning environment that encourages independent thought, collaboration, and a lifelong love of art. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Visual Arts curriculum to students in Grades 6 to 12. Design and implement engaging art projects and activities that cater to diverse learning needs and styles. Prepare and mark a wide range of assessments following MYP and DP protocols. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students, including those for whom English may not be their first language. Teach and promote art appreciation and cultural understanding using a range of student-centered teaching strategies, resources, and technology. Embed IB "Approaches to Learning" in the curriculum delivery. Collaborate with other faculty members to establish interdisciplinary links. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest art education advancements. Education and Qualifications: Degree or equivalent qualification in Art, Art Education, or a related field.
