A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced learning disabilities deputy manager to work across 2 small learning disabilities homes in the Stockton on Tees area. The homes provide residential care for younger adults who have a learning disability. They are centrally located and close to local transport links and easy access from the local areas. They are rated GOOD with CQC and support independent living for their residents.
You will support the managers of these homes in day-to-day business and care needs whilst building and maintaining excellent relationships with outside agencies and local authorities. My client is looking for somebody with existing experience of working with a learning disabilities client group, and challenging behaviour experience is also desirable. They are looking for an established Deputy Manager looking to join a progressive provider who shares good care values.
This role will progress to a Home Manager role within the next 12 months, so passion for progression is a must!
Skills and experience for the role of Deputy Manager:
* Commitment to delivering high-quality care
* Previous Deputy managerial experience in an LD residential setting
* Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
