Join us as a Retail POS Marketing Specialist and you’ll be a big part of this. The Retail Marketing function is central to truly understanding our customer base and defining the B&Q Brand, from which we shape footfall-driving activity into our stores and website. The Range POS team converts that footfall into increased sales and a better, more cohesive shopping experience in our stores. Role purpose: To create the point of sale (POS) that meets the needs of the marketing proposition in-store. To manage all projects to budget, on time and with optimal store execution. To have an understanding of customer journeys in bricks-and-mortar retail and how to develop this in an omni-channel environment Project Management for all POS activity within relevant categories. Be responsible for the endto-end management of the project Manage internal and external creative resource Work within brand guidelines and develop them to meet changing requirements Gather content and create copy adhering to brand tone-of-voice principles Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, e.g., Market Directors, Market Planners, Visual Merchandisers, Internal Studio and Project Management teams Understand research data and use it to inform creative decisions To write the POS brief and obtain sign off from key stakeholders Resolve content-related issues on the Issues Log. Awareness of financial management and project constraints Support wider Retail Marketing team Understand the retail marketplace in the UK and abroad. Visit competitor stores and websites regularly.
