We are looking for a Grain Planner to join the Frontier team, based at Witham St Hughs on a full-time, permanent basis. We are open to hybrid options for this role, after an initial training period, with the right candidate working 3 days from the office and 2 days from home. You will be responsible for executing the trading book while complying with contract terms to maintain or enhance the trading margin. The successful candidate will have a commercial understanding and be able to build and maintain successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Identifying contracts that require an extension, ensure details are agreed and amend contract to reflect Ensuring all contracts are completed - ideally within 4 weeks after final movement / extension date Checking details on contracts received and deal with any discrepancies Identifying and actioning contract defaults Working with Farm Traders, Consumers and Farmers to ensure information held is always up to date Providing holiday / sick cover if required Liaising with Quality team to resolve assurance queries Building strong and effective working relationships with our major customers Working collaboratively with all Frontier departments and internal customers Liasing with Farm traders and Commercial Assistants to ensure appropriate communication with farmer suppliers.
