Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial control and analysis functions.
Balance stakeholder expectations with organisational capabilities.
Identify and advise on innovative financing sources.
Lead and motivate a dedicated team through changes.
Influence senior stakeholders and drive impactful business decisions.
Essential Skills:
Post qualification experience with ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent.
Knowledge of risk management and governance under Managing Public Money rules.
Strong commercial experience with investment regulations.
Proven ability to navigate multiple financial disciplines.
Experience in OPEX preferred over banking.
Desirable Background:
Experience in the rail or construction industry at a senior level.
Previous roles in the public sector.
