About the role
As part of the payroll team, this role’s primary responsibility is to manage the day-to-day administration of the payroll process across our UK & EMEA populations. This role is critical in supporting the payroll team in ensuring we deliver a smooth and efficient service to all employees across the business.
As our Payroll Assistant
1. Assist with the end-to-end processing of payroll for employees on monthly basis.
2. Enter payroll-related data and maintain accurate records of employee information, salary changes, benefits, and deductions
3. Ensure new hires, terminations details are up to date (on Cweb, tracker and SF)
4. Assist with the preparation of payroll reports (KPIS’s) and summaries for management.
5. Support the team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
6. Manage the Payroll Inbox and ensure all queries are flagged for the relevant team member or responded to accurately and in a timely manner
7. Work closely with the wider People Team to review all people processes, with the aim to automate and streamline
8. Ensure the payroll team processes are running with polished efficiency - this includes data cleanses, process mapping in line with GDPR compliance and audit.

About You
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
10. Proven capability to operate in a pressurised environment, requiring discretion, tact, diplomacy, and judgement when dealing with internal and external contacts.
11. Demonstrated experience dealing with highly confidential information.
12. A high degree of emotional intelligence.
13. Gravitas and excellent people skills and the proven acumen to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities.
14. Achieves results, with integrity
15. Experience working in a similar payroll role
16. Experience with SuccessFactors is desirable
17. Strong IT skills and a good aptitude in all MS office applications (including Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
18. Calm, level-headed and professional
19. Excellent excel and system experience with amazing attention to detail
20. Be able to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and customers, through timely, effective communication
21. Excellent communications, written and verbal
22. Must possess the ability to multitask
