A little about you
As Buying and Merchandising Administration Assistant, you will play a very important role in working within the B&M team to provide administrative support on all key areas of the department. With a strong work ethic and great attention to detail, you will be able to multi-task and complete your work accurately.
You will also be flexible in your role and help out in other departments when needed.
What we need.
* Maintain the Critical Path and communicate with suppliers to ensure that we meet
each key date in the trading calendar and the product runs on time.
* Accurately raise purchase orders in line with supplier/brand deadlines, and manage
these throughout the product life cycle.
* Deliver efficient administrative support to the team, to ensure that everything runs
smoothly and that relevant reports and files are kept up to date at all times.
* Stock replenishment and order data entry.
* Work with Buyer to approve products onto the site.
* Work with Merchandiser to action price changes on the system.
* Liaise with suppliers to gather all assets and information relating to orders placed by
buyers and organise into files.
* Assist with checking order receipts against quantity ordered and flag inaccuracies.
* Assist with the approval of incoming invoices, check correct discounts were applied
against order terms.
* Identify sales trends and marketing opportunities.
* Complete competitor shop reports for your category.
* Assist the Marketing Coordinator with campaign preparation.
* Run sales reports weekly for trade meetings and ad-hoc for supplier meetings
* Managing the booking requests from suppliers
