Are you a recent graduate looking to make a positive impact on the lives of young people? We are seeking a Graduate Behaviour Mentor to work with students in secondary schools across Southampton. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will provide one-on-one and small group support to students who are facing challenges in managing their behaviour. This is an ideal role for graduates looking to develop experience in education, youth work, or social work.
The Role
As a Graduate Behaviour Mentor, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting students in managing their behaviour and improving their engagement with learning.
* Developing personalised behaviour plans in collaboration with teachers and the SENCO.
* Building positive relationships with students and helping them overcome barriers to learning.
* Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students who need extra guidance.
* Assisting in the development of strategies to manage and improve classroom behaviour.
