Serco have a new role as a Housekeeping Supervisor. You will be responsible for coordinating, directing and monitoring the cleaning operatives in their duties., To be responsible for all day to day aspects relating to the management and maintenance of the cleaning service within the contract specification to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets.
- To provide a cleaning service to the agreed standards in accordance with the Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators specified in the service contract.
- To actively enforce relevant statutory, company and site H&S compliance together with the monitoring of related equipment.
- To be responsible for scheduling of work within the specified details of the contract.
Proven experience in working in a cleaning team.
- Experience of managing a team.
- Strong organisation, prioritisation and communication skills, able to work within time constraints and prioritise tasks according to the needs of the site.
- Ability to provide training and guidance to staff on standards, in particular COSHH.
- Certificates, qualification or training in relevant areas of Health and Safety - in particular COSHH but also general risk assessment, manual handling and first aid - would be advantageous but not essential, Disability Confident
