Quality Inspector

Working with a well established company that operates within the Defence and Aerospace arena.
They are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join the company, apply if interested.
The role:
Ensure that all product conforms to customer drawings and specifications. - Complex aerospace parts.
Perform Inspection using multiple measurement devices ranging from handheld equipment (Micrometers, Verniers, Plug & Thread gauges) to Shadowgraphs, Height Gauges.
Carry out First Offs, In-Process, Goods Inwards and Final Inspection to customer drawings and specifications.
Prepare and carry out FAIR's to AS9102.
Support all Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with AS9100 as well as all required company, customer and regulatory ruling and process.
Keep the workspace clean and organised (5s).
Clean and maintain the work area and equipment including tools.
Ensure correct authorities (training and skills) are in place to carry out the role under the regulations of the QMS.
Able to report out inspection findings to senior management upon request.
The Candidate:
Aerospace experience - ideal but not essential.
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Understand GD&T
FAIR creation/completion to AS9102
Preferred- Familiar with Modus CMM programming language
Ability to thrive within a fast-paced manufacturing business environment
Applicants with Metrology / Calibration and gauge control experience preferred
