We’re recruiting for an Audit Assistant Manager to join a well-established accountancy practice based in Liverpool.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified (or nearly qualified) ACA/ACCA auditor with strong practice experience who’s ready to lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and help develop a growing team.
You’ll be managing a wide range of client engagements from planning through to final sign-off, playing a key role in the delivery of high-quality audit and accounts work across a diverse client base.

Role Responsibilities Leading on-site audit fieldwork and managing end-to-end audit processes
Liaising directly with client staff and building trusted relationships
Managing reporting deadlines, budgets, and work in progress (WIP)
Prioritising tasks to handle high-risk and time-sensitive areas effectively
Attending and contributing to client planning and close meetings
Supporting junior team members with technical queries and development
Reviewing financial statements and producing management letters
