This Area Sales Manager role is based heavily on the account management side of the role, with the initial scope to 'hit the ground running' with live accounts, allowing you to make an immediate effect. For this role, our client promotes individual autonomy and does not look to micro-manage their employees. They trust that you are the expert in your field but always look for ways to support you when required.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing a range of accounts with different demands.
2. Regularly conducting service visits to sites to ensure quality standards are met and taking the opportunity to grow rapport.
3. Encouraging upselling on accounts, always looking for new opportunities to maximise growth.
4. Negotiating and implementing renewal contracts for a selected patch.
5. Demonstrating great market knowledge of the company's forklift range and services offered.
6. Continuously looking for new business opportunities to expand the client base.
Job Requirements:
1. Proven experience working in the Material Handling industry.
2. Good understanding of forklift product ranges.
3. Previous field sales experience.
4. Friendly, outgoing individual.
5. Desire to provide a good service to clients.
