As a key member of the team, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality care to residents, promoting their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. This role involves leadership responsibilities, including supervising junior staff and maintaining a positive, supportive environment for both residents and colleagues. Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing individual care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs. Provide personal care and support, including help with bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Supervise and guide junior staff to ensure that high standards of care are consistently maintained. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to ensure a collaborative and person-centered approach. Monitor residents health and well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records, contributing to the regular review of care plans. Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transportation. Administer medications according to established procedures and guidelines. Experience and Skills Previous experience in a senior care or similar role is essential. Proven ability to develop and implement effective care plans. Competency in medication administration and problem-solving in a care setting. Strong leadership and team supervision experience within a care environment. Proficient IT skills for maintaining care records and team communication. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with residents and their families.
