Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work as Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist within the Long Term Ventilation Service based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that high quality, safe, effective, person-centred care is delivered for patients with acute and complex ventilation needs including non-invasively ventilated and tracheostomy ventilated patients. Your role involves working with inpatients, outpatients and in the community across Glasgow and the West of Scotland. You will also be involved in other speciality services including The Scottish Muscle Network and MND Scotland.
Experience Required
Experience in respiratory medicine, critical care or neurology is essential. Experience with ventilation, tracheostomy management, community nursing, working with patients with neuromuscular conditions, and previous experience in a clinical nurse specialist role are desirable.
