Job Description
As part of a leading consultancy in the UK, you will be given the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of planning projects covering various sectors and dealing with a variety of clients, with a focus on renewables, residential (including specialist housing for senior people), and commercial (employment and town centre) development.
Duties of the Role:
You’ll be undertaking public consultation, preparing, submitting and monitoring planning applications, as well as collating evidence for appeals, negotiating applications and also moving towards managing your own projects. Candidate Requirements:
• Chartered member of the RTPI or working towards the APC.
• Previous experience in researching, preparing, submitting planning applications, statements and appraisals or experience in dealing with pre-application enquiries, determining applications and preparing Officer Reports.
• Experience in planning practice (public or private).
