Miryco Consultants are looking for an experienced insurance risk professional with a strong actuarial background, to join an ambitious and fast-growing Lloyd’s insurer. Your ability to influence stakeholders, manage projects, and deliver actionable insights will be key in this fundamentally dynamic business.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with senior leadership to identify, measure, and manage risks across the organization.
* Ensure timely reporting to management and the Board in line with the Risk Management Framework.
* Lead Internal Model validation and Own Risk and Solvency Assessments.
* Oversee compliance with Solvency II, Solvency UK, and Lloyd’s regulations.
* Provide analytical insights to guide business strategy, with a focus on risk and quantitative analysis.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
* Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering professional development.
Requirements:
* Qualified Actuary with experience in risk management within a Lloyd's market insurer.
* Strong understanding of actuarial techniques and their application in risk management.
* Proven track record in implementing effective risk strategies and ensuring compliance.
* Experience navigating risk in a technology-driven, fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders.
* Solid project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Business acumen and commercial insight with a focus on strategic risk solutions.
