Primary Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of the Operations Business Analyst Role is to provide an essential effective service to the UWS Business Reporting Lead by analysing key master data sources. The individual will work closely with internal partners to drive maximum benefit from our company’s business systems and improve the overall UWS Data Quality. They will understand the importance of the data and data integrity that underpin the business processes.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
* Promote an enterprise focused approach across the UWS business to introduce a Business Analyst concept by changing mind-sets to drive decision making based on evidence.
* Coordinate, prepare and analyse information for integration into management reports such as: Business Operations Reporting / Project Management Reporting / On Time Delivery.
* Proactively act upon the quality of that data to improve and drive efficiencies, provide exception reporting, specifying corrective actions with ownership and timelines.
* Visualise data by using company mandated toolsets such as Power BI, Mendix, Charts and Graphs in line with company standards.
* Collaborate with the UK Digi Ops teams to agree and maintain a cohesive reporting ‘format’ and presentation style.
* Embed new UK data products into the UWS business.
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
* Good all round knowledge of business applications.
* Understand the importance of data and data integrity in managing a business and the tools that underpin the.
* Business Analysis skills and other analytical tools such as Power BI and common office tools (MS office suite etc)
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Understanding of project management principles and processes.
