Design engineer

An exciting opportunity to join a reputable engineering business in the Prestonarea who are looking to expand their design team due to year-on-year growth. As part of this recruitment drive, they are looking for aMechanical Design Engineer (Junior, Mid or Senior level).

This role is a full lifecycle role where you will be involved with everything from blank sheet design, specifications, 3D CAD, prototyping, production test & validation and taking a product through to manufacture.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to take the next step into a challenging role.

Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:
* HNC/D or Degree Level in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
* 3D CAD SolidWorks or similar
* Sheet metal / Fabrication design
* MS suite
* Experience with Aerospace, Marine or Automotive (desirable)
