Job Description
We are searching for a talented Head of Design and Creative for a fast scaling consumer wellness business who are really making a difference to lives of people across the country.
The business is continuing to grow and innovate and is therefore seeking a proven leader to create and nurture the brand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the visual identity of our client across all touchpoints, from their e-commerce site and marketing materials to packaging and user experience design.
This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will manage and mentor a small team while also working collaboratively with marketing, product, and development teams to create seamless, engaging customer experiences.
The Role
* Brand Leadership: Own and evolve brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and platforms.
* Creative Direction: Develop and execute high-impact campaigns across digital, social media, email, and print, working closely with the marketing team stakeholders.
* Digital and UX Design: Oversee the design and user experience of the website and digital platforms, improving usability, accessibility, and conversion rates.
* Team Management: Grow and lead a small but high-performing design team, fostering creativity and innovation.
* Packaging & Product Design: Design of own-brand product packaging to align with brand values and market positioning.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and marketing professionals to deliver best-in-class creative solutions.
* Performance and Innovation: Use customer insights, A/B testing, and analytics to refine and optimise design strategies.
The person
* Proven experience in a senior design role, ideally within an e-commerce consumer goods brand.
* Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand identity, digital design, UX/UI, and marketing campaigns.
* Hands-on experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant software.
* Excellent leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing creative talent.
* Understanding of user-centred design principle and accessibility,
* Ability to balance creative excellence with commercial objectives.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
