* Undertake the tasks and duties of the role as delegated by the midwifery team.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships respecting women and their family's wishes.
* Provide women centred care and support, reporting concerns or errors to a registered practitioner in a timely manner.
* Maintain patient and staff confidentiality at all times.
* Use initiative in planning daily routines.
* Promote a professional, welcoming and caring environment.
* Have a positive attitude and consistently demonstrate the Trust's values and behaviours.
* Organising and informing patients of Fetal Medicine appointments in the absence of the Fetal Medicine receptionist.
* Escorting women and their families to different clinical areas as required.
* Chaperoning clinical lists, this can include chaperoning of sensitive examinations.
* Routine maternal observations.
* Carrying out Venepuncture
* Accepting higher chance screening results and preparing the necessary paperwork.
* Receive referrals, liaise with the Fetal Medicine midwives and arrange appropriate appointments.
* Assist the Fetal Medicine midwives caring for women undergoing invasive procedures.
